Privacy in Credavyn

Credavyn uses your email account or signed-in ChatGPT identity to keep your profile, grades, assignments, and subscription tied to your account. You choose which classes and coursework to enter or import.

Email accounts

If you sign up with email, Credavyn stores your email address, a salted password hash, and a hash of your private recovery key. Passwords and recovery keys are not stored in readable form. A secure cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Login attempts are limited using hashed email and network identifiers. Email addresses are not verified by email, and they do not grant access to an existing ChatGPT workspace. Save your recovery key; it is required to reset a forgotten email-account password.

Saved data

Your profile name, optional school, coursework, and grade settings are stored with your account identifier. A cache of your plan and reminder preferences is also kept on the device you use. Download a backup under Connections whenever you need a copy.

Connections

Canvas connections read coursework you authorize. Saved OAuth tokens are encrypted on the server. Calendar-feed links are used for the requested import. Direct Canvas sync uses your school’s approved OAuth connection. Credavyn does not submit assignments or change grades.

Payments

Stripe processes subscription payments. Credavyn sends Stripe your account email and an account reference for billing, and stores Stripe customer references and verified subscription status. Card details are entered on Stripe’s pages and are not stored by Credavyn.

Owner administration

The website owner can view profile names, schools, signup dates, and billing access, and can grant complimentary access. Owner commands are restricted to the owner’s ChatGPT identity and recorded in an activity log. Payment notifications from Stripe are verified and reduced to the references, status, and paid periods needed to maintain your subscription.

AI and third-party services

The optional AI coach downloads runtime and model files from third-party providers. Chat generation runs on your device; Credavyn does not upload chat prompts to a hosted AI API. Fonts and model downloads involve requests to their hosting services. Their privacy practices also apply.

Your control

You can remove classes and assignments, download a backup, disconnect Canvas, and cancel your subscription from Billing. Removing coursework or disconnecting Canvas does not cancel a paid subscription.
